Seedlings, sunlight, fresh water and a bounty of good vibes went into the first planting of the Leaf Ninjas’ growing season. Preparing for their first year as urban farmers they not only aim to grow the best local and organic produce possible for Calgary’s communities but help people get out in the dirty goodness growing their own food. Through a blend of permaculture design, insight from the SPIN farming community and good old experimentation the Leaf Ninjas set forth on a journey to redefine the face of food today.
